  • The Level 2 Certificate for the Children & Young People’s Workforce is recommended only for candidates who are new to the School or very inexperienced.

  • Any member of your support staff who is completing his/her probationary period is a likely candidate for Level 2 Certificate for the Children & Young People’s Workforce.

  • Most candidates who have completed Level 2 are ready to start Level 3 immediately – if not before the Level 2 is finished. They also may wish to be considered for the HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant – for which they would probably require QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce.

  • Those who have previous experience working in Schools or related  environments will have accumulated even more knowledge, skills and experience to do the QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce.

  • Our experience has shown that many staff in schools usually take on additional responsibilities.. Such responsibilities require the skills and aptitude required to provide the evidence and knowledge base for the Units making up the QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce.
