How does the process work?

• NVQ Academy are one of the only NVQ Centres in the UK to train at least one of your senior members of staff FREE OF CHARGE to assess your other employees*

• All Assessment is in-house (meaning on travel, no expenses, no cover, no  time-owing)

• NVQ Academy is a true advocate of holistic assessment

• All evidence and assessment opportunities are gained from real life and real work situations

• The Work-Based Assessor is trained and assessed against the criteria of A1 Assessor Awards through NVQ Academy

• Paperwork and the system have been developed over many years to eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and time-wasting

• Each candidate must spend an average of at least 45 - 60 minutes per week with the assessor

• The Establishment must be willing to support such a time and resource allocation

• The Internal Verifier conducts regular visits to active sites to ensure standardisation, consistency and accuracy of assessment

• Visits to NVQ Academy by the Awarding Body External Verifier take place every six months

* subject to minimum number of Candidates at site depending on geographical location and availablity of a senior member of staff to act as a Work-Based Assessor (Training and Qualification included in package price)
